I also just made a stripey top for H. I wanted something that was comfy & easy to get her in & out of, with a bit of room to grow. I made this up as I went along as it's a simple shape. I added a zip and stamped a star on it (her name means "Evening star"!). Originally, the zip was meant to be in the back, but I prefer how it looks at the front (having it slightly undone also disguises the fact that the zip is ever so slightly wonky!)

Back in September I blogged about some bargain fabric that I bought and intended to make some clothes with, despite not really knowing how to. I did manage to make a slouchy top for myself with the spotty fabric. I made this months ago with the help of this amazingly simple tutorial by Rebbsew on YouTube .
